SHIPPING POLICY
1. Shipments from our logistics center transit & handling time
The shipping time begins from the date you place your order. It is usually 10-20 business days for Economy Shipping. Once we've received it, we can dispatch it.
1.2 Non-Business Days
Shipping times will be affected during public holidays, therefore manufacturers and couriers will limit their operations. This is outside our control. Regular service resumes immediately after each holiday. Incorrect address details, customs clearance procedures, and other issues may cause a delay in delivery.
1.3 Change Of Delivery Address
We cannot change the delivery address once it is in transit. If you need to change your shipping address, please contact us within 12 hours of placing your order at logistics@bornasgeneralhardware.store or Call Us toll free at +1 (888) 830-1543. Please note that we process and dispatch orders within one business day of your order being placed.
1.4 P.O. Box Shipping
Borna's General Hardware will ship to P.O. box addresses using postal services only.
1.5 Military Address Shipping
We are able to ship to military addresses using Canada Post & USPS.
1.6 Items Out Of Stock
If an item is out of stock, we will cancel and refund the out-of-stock items and dispatch the rest of the order.
1.7 Delivery Time Exceeded
If delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please contact us so that we can conduct an investigation with the logistics company and vendor. Please contact us if your package is taking TOO LONG (and outside of our advised 10-20 business day delivery time frame) to arrive, and we will help you resolve any situation we have control over.
2. Tracking Notifications
When your items are shipped out, you should receive a notification from us via email with a tracking number. If you haven't received one or the tracking number doesn't work it's okay, just contact us and we'll fix it.
3. Parcels Damaged In Transit
If you find a parcel is damaged in-transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier and get in touch with our customer service.
4. Duties & Taxes
Our customers do not need to pay for importing fees, duties, or VAT(Valued Additional Tax). However, some limited countries may need to pay duties or VAT according to your countries’ levying rules. For taxes we charge only Canadian GST nationwide and HST for some provinces only.
5. Cancellations
If you change your mind before you receive your order, we can accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. Please refer to our refund policy if an order has already been dispatched.
6. Insurance
All shipments are covered with third party cargo insurance for loss, stolen, and damage up to the value of the product that is being shipped.
6.1 Process for parcel damaged in-transit
We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has completed their investigation into the claim.
6.2 Process for parcel lost in-transit
We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has conducted an investigation and deemed the parcel lost.
7. To return your product
You have to wait until we provide you with a waived shipping label with our logistics center address indicated on the shipping label. You will be fully responsible for returning your item. Shipping costs are waived. You will receive a refund once the item successfully arrives at our logistics center. We cannot guarantee that nothing harmful will happen to your item, nor if the item gets lost during transit.
